TOP TINTS
Whilst brown & grey lenses are popular tints for sports glasses – because they match with virtually any frame colour – choosing a brighter colour is a smart choice for shooters.
Purple lenses are a favourite amongst shooters. Known as background neutralisers, they dull greens and blues to help define contours and increase contrast, and enable to shooter to see clays better against a dark background.
Vermillion (Rose) and orange tinted lenses increase the contrast and brighten vision in bright and overcast conditions. Vermillion is also fantastic when shooting orange targets as it darkens the sky and fades out green backgrounds. See how clays really ‘ping’ out in the slider image opposite.
